The foundation of St. Faustina Balasadhan is deeply inspired by the life and spiritual legacy of saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, a Polish nun universally revered as the Apostle of Divine Mercy. Her life's work focused on spreading a message of boundless compassion, unconditional love , and active care for the most vulnerable members of the society.
